How Many Cupcakes Are Consumed Every Year?
Between 2010 and 2011, national cupcake consumption climbed 52%, with Americans eating over 770 million cupcakes last year! What a figure!

Persian cupcakes may be traced back to an ancient city named “Yazd” in central Iran. Originally, Yazdi cakes were served in flower-shaped aluminum cups.
